Birth Goddess

Something spiritual, personal and full of symbolism. I drew inspiration from various mythologies and my own personal approach.
This picture shall act as a kind of talisman, blessing and focus for pregnancy and birth.

Ein spirituelles, persönliches und symbolreiches Bild. Als Inspiration habe ich mich mit verschiedenen Mythologiekreisen beschäftigt und auch mein eigenes Empfinden einfließen lassen.
Das Bild soll als Talisman, Segnung und Focus für Schwangerschaft und Geburt dienen.

Tarot: Tod

So ziemlich das erste, das man lernt, wenn man sich mit Tarotkarten beschäftigt, ist das die Karte Tod nichts furchtbares ist. In vielen Kulturen gilt der Tod als Übergang in eine andere Existenzphase und er wird gefeiert. Deshlab habe ich diese Karte möglichst „bunt“ gestaltet. Etwas Unheimliches haftet ihr dennoch an. Makaber eben!

First thing about Tarot is usually that Death is not a terrifying card. Many cultures see dying as a way of passing to another state of existence. I tried to draw this card very „colorfull“. Still, it has somthing scary. It’s macabre!

Tarot: Herrscherin

The Empress has long been one of my favorite cards and here I think she is one of the best illustrations in my set.

Die Herrscherin ist schon länger eine meine Lieblingskarten und ich finde sie ist auch eine meiner besten Illustrationen.
